Throughout our 47 year history, we have repeatedly demonstrated our
ability to lead the electronics field in innovative systems, engineering
and application techniques. Major contracts have included Local
Area Network Data, Fiber Optics, Broadband and Baseband, Laser, Microwave
and Satellite Video and Data Systems. These systems support manufacturer's
equipment such as IBM, WANG, Sytek, Ungerman Bass, General Instruments,
C-Cor, Scientific Atlanta, Tektronix, M/A Comm, Standard, Hewlett Packard
and other telecommunications products. Custom engineering and design
services are provided that may relate to special security techniques such
as TEMPEST and RFI/EMI protection which are often requirements for the
U.S. Government and related aerospace industries.
Our innovative leadership is evidenced in past projects such as the
design, development and installation (in conjunction with Sytek Corporation)
of the first local area network RF broadband system in Southern California.
This system has since been expanded to include complete redundancy, status
monitoring, dual cables and dual amplifiers with custom engineered standby
LAN power supply three phase automatic switching. More than a dozen
similar systems have been engineered, developed and installed at corporations
such as Litton Data Systems, Litton Guidance Systems, Pacific Missile Test
Center, Eaton Corporation, Bunker Ramo Corporation and Datron Corporation.
Capp's Electronics has also demonstrated the ability to contract for
and complete in a timely manner, a prestigious project that covers the
scope and magnitude of the 1984 U.S. Olympics. Our firm engineered
and installed the broadband system including the closed circuit broadcasting
system of the Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee (LAOOC) covering 27
venues, three university villages, the main press center at the Los Angeles
Convention Center and the Headquarters Center at the Biltmore Hotel, with
25 closed circuit channels of live coverage. Also installed, were all
of the Swiss Timing cables at the Los Angeles Coliseum.
Specializing in systems integration, we provide a complete line of
services for today's diverse selection of intercommunications systems.
We utilize a team approach with professional engineers, project managers
and experienced technicians. Our location in Southern California allows
for rapid response to the individual needs of our customers. We understand
that our customers expect minimal disruption of the work environment during
installation of systems and adherence to safety procedures. Blueprint
and/or CAD copies of as built drawings, providing complete and accurate documentation
of each installation, including testing and certification results, are available
to the customer upon completion of each system.
Following the completion of any project, this company's professional
reputation is intricately involved, so we will provide consultation to
customer engineers and/or technicians, or we will make technical adjustments
to meet the customer's continuing needs.
